NFL Rookie of the Year

This is going to be really rough. Probably because I don't know how any of this works, but whatever.

I think this year's NFL Rookie of the Year is really up in the air.

Speaking only offensively (I really haven't done a lot of looking at defense), here are my contenders.

Vince Young, QB, Tennessee Titans
Reggie Bush, RB, New Orleans Saints
Marques Colston, WR, New Orleans Saints
Devin Hester, CB/KR, Chicago Bears

Unless I'm blatantly snubbing someone, I think these are the only viable choices.

Here's the breakdown of all four...

Vince Young: Wins football games.
Reggie Bush: Leads league in receptions. X-factor. Teams have to alter schemes simply because of his presence on the field.
Marques Colston: One of the few WR's to actually make an impact. Immediately filled the void of Stallworth and provided the Saints with a big play threat.
Devin Hester: X-factor. Game changer. Single-handedly decided the outcome of multiple games.

It's hard to vote on this without a bias. Being a Bears fan, I immediately look to Hester. Being a Reggie Bush fan, I kind of root for him. Originally, I was a big VY hater (terms like "Ryan Leaf" were thrown around), but I'm really starting to come around on him.

I say, as of right now, my vote goes to D-Hest, but if Big Vince can win two of his last three games, I'll give the award to him. He may not have the fancy passing stats, but wins are wins.

We outta here.
